Happy 60th Birthday Tom McGrath !! He is also the director of the Madagascar trilogy (along with Eric Darnell), Megamind and Boss Baby franchise.
He even had minor roles in KFP4 like voicing the crocodile crime lord into which Chameleon had shapeshifted and gave the idea of the tippy tavern.
He hinted years ago that a Madagascar 4 was still possible, which I hope is true. The franchise felt unfinished and needed 1 more movie to wrap everything up
