@An child I might agree to disagree here, but at least there are some parallels. Both Fink from The Wild Robot and Nick are cunning and wise-cracking and fill in the same deuteragonist role to Roz and Judy Hopps, while Porsha and Zhen are both adventurous and quick-witted

Penguins of Madagascar had an antagonist who is an octopus (which is quite close to a kraken) and literally resulted in PDI’s closure cuz of it being a box office bomb

RGTK on the other hand is also the (indirect) result of DreamWorks shutting its in-house animation division with The Wild Robot
