Abominable is an upcoming computer-animated film, directed by Animation veteran Jill Culton and co-directed by DreamWorks employee Todd Wilderman. The screenplay is co-written by The Buzz On Maggie creator Dave Polsky and comedian Sue Costello and based on a story by Culton & bestselling author Susan Minot. It is due to be released on September 27, 2019 in USA.
Plot
A magical Yeti must return to his family. While on his quest, he must overcome his greatest fears while traveling through different dimensions.

Trivia
- This is the first DreamWorks Animation film to be released in September, followed by Spooky Jack.
- The film was first titled Everest but in May 2018 it had been retitled Abominable, likely due to the fact that Universal Pictures, DreamWorks Animation's current distributor and parent company since 2016, had made an unrelated film with the same title in 2015.
- This is the first DreamWorks Animation movie to take place in the wintertime.
