"Accidentally in Love" is a song by alternative rock band Counting Crows on the soundtrack of Shrek 2 (2004). It was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Song. Counting Crows also performed the song at the ceremony but did not win the award.

Music video

The music video for the movie is included on the Shrek 2 DVD as a bonus feature. It features clips from the movie intercut with scenes of Adam Duritz, the lead singer of Counting Crows, recording the song.

Another music video features a stuffed animal in the apartment of a teen couple (The girl is confirmed to be Ashley Roberts), complete with a TV showing scenes from the film.
