Role in the film[]
Before the film's events, she had met and started a relationship with Officer Knight, who, along with their dog Greg, had a happy family together. However, after a tragic bomb incident leading to doctors having to create Dog Man, Alice broke up with Knight, sold their house, and left away with a new boyfriend and dog.
This breakup, not very severe to her, would affect Dog Man verily, seeing as Knight had basically passed away, meaning that Dog Man would have to find a house and live by himself for seemingly the rest of his life. However, after meeting and adopting Li'l Petey, Dog Man feels less lonely and has a loving life with him.
