José Antonio Domínguez Banderas (born August 10, 1960), known professionally as Antonio Banderas, is a Spanish actor, producer and singer. He performed the voice of Puss in Boots in the Shrek franchise films. He also dubbed the character in the Castilian and Latin Spanish dubbed versions of the films as well as the Italian dubbed versions (excluding Shrek 2 and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish).

- The DVD menu of Shrek 2, Far Far Away Idol, Scared Shrekless and Donkey's Caroling Christmas-tacular are the only media where Antonio Banderas doesn't dub his character in the Latin Spanish version, being replaced by Sergio Gutierrez Coto.
- Antonio Banderas also doesn't dub his character in the Castilian Spanish dub of Far Far Away Idol and Scared Shrekless, being replaced by Gonzalo Abril y Salvador Aldeguer respectively.
- Massimo Rossi, who voiced Puss in Boots in Shrek 2, replaces Antonio Banderas in Shrek the Halls and Scared Shrekless.
- However, in Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, Antonio Banderas doesn't return to dub his character for unknown reasons in the Italian dub, being replaced by Diego Suárez starting on the second trailer.
