Babs the Hen is the secondary tritagonist and she is one of Ginger's best friends. She is an obese, tan-colored hen.
Babs loves knitting (she does this most of the time) and holidays, but she doesn't like gravy. She has blue bangs and wears a pink-beaded double-necklace.
She is voiced by Jane Horrocks.
