The Master Badger Twins (or simply the Badger Twins) were a legendary deceased Kung Fu master duo whose Chi were taken by Kai and used in his Jade army in Kung Fu Panda 3.

Biography

Kung Fu Panda 3

There is nothing else known about Master Badger Twins other than that they were possibly among the first of Oogway's students trained in Kung Fu and that they both apparently passed away into the Spirit Realm at some point. After having their Chi taken by Kai upon arrival, the Badger Twins were resurrected as Jade soldiers and used alongside Porcupine to find Oogway's students and bring them to the bull when he returned to the Mortal Realm. They fought hard against Po, the Furious Five, and Shifu in the Valley of Peace, only to be kept at bay with Porcupine by Po's rapid "Dumplings of Doom" technique as the battle ended in Mr. Ping's Noodle Shop, distracting them long enough for the panda and his comrades to pin them down. However, Kai spoke through the jade beings and summoned them away, causing them to disappear as quickly as they had appeared.

Not long after, when Kai found the Panda Village, he unleashed all of his jade slaves, including the Badger Twins, upon the pandas and those with them. The pandas, however, got the upper hand throughout the battle, especially when the Badgers got tied up in Mei Mei's dancing ribbon and beaten up by her nun-chucks, so Kai retracted them and the rest of his minions. It is presumed that once Po successfully vanquished Kai in the Spirit Realm by overloading him with Chi, the Badgers and the other masters enslaved were returned to normal when they had the left over Chi given to them by the panda himself and left to rest in peace.
