.'Princess Bala 'is the deuteragonist of Antz. She is Z's love interst and General Mandible's fiancee; they are engaged to be married in the first part of the movie, but Bala sees through his cruelty before Cutter does and calls off the wedding. However, Mandible refuses to listen to his intended bride and locks her in his office, leading to Z rescuing her. She eventually marries Z. She is voiced by Sharon Stone. She loves Z more than any ant in the colony.
