Buffalord is a Mystery Class dragon and a minor character in the DreamWorks•Netflix's series, Dragons: Race to the Edge.

- Although it's been hunted to near extinction, the benevolent Buffalord holds the only cure to the lethal disease known as the Scourge of Odin. Once roaming across the Archipelago in large herds, the Buffalord now lives a solitary existence grazing in peace and secreting a green drool with amazing curative properties. As such, this exceeding rare dragon would fetch a hefty price at any auction. Fortunately, the Buffalord has no interest in leaving its grassy plains and will keep any hunter at bay with its abilities: firing the many spikes studding its hide and doubling its size by inflating!
Personality[]
The Buffalord is known to be very docile like a yak. The dragon is known to have an out of control behavior whenever anyone tries to take it out of it's home habitat and away from the herbs it eats.
Physical Appearance[]
The Buffalord is a big dragon with ram like horns. It has a nose horn and spines all over its back.
Role in the series[]
In "Buffalord Soldier", the Dragon Riders found a single Buffalord on a new island. The Buffalord begins to notice the Dragon Riders very nervous and then yawns at them causing them to run away from it. Hiccup approaches closely to it and got a drop of it's saliva in the cup. As they begin to leave Hiccup then noticed the Buffalord saliva dried up.
