- Catastrophic Quakens are known for their cruel attitudes. They don't let anyone get in their way, and they'll go out of their way to wreak havoc on their target.
- Catastrophic Quakens eat more rocks than any other in their class! They also have a nasty habit of spitting up digested rocks at attackers in the form of hot lava!
Physical Appearance[]
The Catastrophic Quaken is a large quadrupedal dragon with a bulky body. It is covered with small spikes all over its body and ends with a thick tail with a single long stinger-like Spike at the end. It has a pair of large membrane wings on its back.

In "Gruff Around the Edges", Gruffnut slowly enters a cave and accidentally awaken a Catastrophic Quaken. Gruffnut run for his life out of the cave and the Catastrophic Quaken then roars at him.
In "Last Auction Heroes", a Catastrophic Quaken was caged by Viggo for his auction. Hiccup tries to free it but caught. After Grump freed the riders, the Catastrophic Quaken was then freed and rolls everything in its path scaring away Dragon Hunters.
In "King of Dragons, Part 2", a flock of Catastrophic Quakens along with many other dragons were called by the Bewilderbeast distress call and help fight against the Dragon Hunters on Berserker Island.
