Chief Clarence Bailey, better known as simply just Chief, is one of the tritagonists in the 2025 DreamWorks film, Dog Man. He is voiced by Lil Rel Howery.

Personality[]
He is shown to be loving and supportive towards Dog Man despite his small temper. He always wanted to be famous and make his mother proud (even getting his crush, Sarah Hatoff, to notice him), which he eventually achieves in the end. He may not be the best chief on the police force, but he always does his best at his job.
Physical Appearance[]
His design from the books is similar in the movie: he is an African-American with a mustache and wears the typical police uniform: blue uniforms and hats with a yellow badge on them. However, he has the letters "Chief" on his hat in yellow instead of a badge. The only difference is his shirt has a collar, the ends of his sleeves have yellow rings, and his pants have yellow stripes.
