Circus Zaragoza is a traveling European all-animal circus and the main location of the DreamWorks film, Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted. Originally owned by humans, the Zoosters eventually bought the deed to the circus with the remains of the gems the penguins brought from Africa. With some improvements made in each animal performer's role and a revamped performance similar in style to Cirque du Soleil, Circus Zaragoza was a large enough hit to even obtain a tour in the United States. Skipper, Kowalski, Rico, and Private help as backstage security while the Zoosters perform each of their various performances that they chose.

History[]

Pre-Zoosters[]

As told by Stefano, Circus Zaragoza was once a very popular circus. Under Vitaly's impossible hoop acts, the circus toured the world with sold out performances. However, the glory days were not meant to last. After Vitaly's disastrous failure during the flaming hoop act, Circus Zaragoza plummeted.

The Gang's Arrival[]

Alex and the gang want to hitch a ride on the circus locomotive to get away from Captain Chantel DuBois and the animal control.

The penguins and the chimpanzees decided to buy the circus from the original owner/ringmaster who he and all of his human performers (who are all clowns) quickly and happily accepted and immediately leave after the deal is made and leaving all of the animal performers behind, making the circus and the animal performers, the Zoosters' responsibility now. They didn't found out the real reason why the original owner happily and immediately sold the circus to them in the first place until their first ever show as an all-animal circus in Italy, which it was a huge disaster, causing the audience wanted their money back. The Zoosters help the animal performers to improve their acts, including Vitaly regaining his confidence.

In the end, the Zoosters decide to join the circus and travel the world with it.

The circus is currently owned by Alex, Marty, Melman, and Gloria, along with Mason and Phil as The King of Versailles.

Currently, the circus' logo is "Fur Power" and the animals in the circus perform acts that are traditionally performed by humans.
