Colonel Cutter is General Mandible's assistant and one of the minor antagonists of Antz, but he later reforms. He is wing ant, he is 42 years old.
Role in the film
Cutter tells to Weaver during interegation that "Insectopia does not exist", but Mandible tells otherwise and orders Cutter to find and bring back the princess and kill Z. Cutter slowly begins to have second thoughts about Mandible's plans for the future. When Mandible attempts to kill Z with a spear, Cutter punches Mandible and helps Z up. Mandible charges at Cutter but misses and instead hits Z, killing Mandible and making Z fall into the water. Cutter saves Z and the colony. Cutter replaces Mandible as General.
