Dennis Dexter Haysbert (born June 2, 1954) is an American actor and voice actor, known for his distinctive deep voice. He is best known for his roles as Pedro Cerrano in the Major League film trilogy, David Palmer in the crime drama series 24, and as God in urban-fantasy series Lucifer. He is also well-known for his various TV commercials, one of which he is revealed to be the Allstate insurance spokesman.

For DreamWorks, he performed the voice of Kale in Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas, Storming Ox in Kung Fu Panda 2 and Secrets of the Masters, and the Judge in Mr. Peabody & Sherman.
