Dominick "Dom" DeLuise was (August 1, 1933 – May 4, 2009) was an American actor, comedian, director, chef, and author. He was best known for comedy roles, he rose to fame in the 1970s as a frequent guest on television variety shows.
On May 4, 2009 at age 75, DeLuise died from kidney failure, cancer, and respiratory problems, due to complications of diabetes.
For DreamWorks Animation, he performed the voice of Duke in the show, Father of the Pride.
