DreamWorks Land is a theme park land located at Universal Studios Florida. It is home to three major properties; Shrek, Trolls, and Kung Fu Panda. It opened to the public on June 14, 2024.

Shrek Attractions[]

Shrek's Swamp Meet[]

Formerly a small meet-and-greet at Woody Woodpecker's KidZone, this section allows guests to meet Shrek, Princess Fiona and Donkey. Shrek's cottage hosts the meet-and-greets, with Donkey peeking out of a window to interact with guests. This functions the same as Donkey's Stable which once resided across from Shrek 4-D and the first version of the Swamp Meet during the last year of KidZone.

Shrek's Swamp for Little Ogres[]

A water play area themed to the swamp, which features many interactive features for kids to play around in. In front of the swamp is a splash pad which sprays water from giant cattails. The rest of the swamp features water guns that can be used to spray unsuspecting guests on the raised bridges. The area also features four slides, with one coming out of the iconic outhouse. When sliding down that specific slide, guests can hear fart noises as they descend. A handful of rope bridges connect the structures, which help create paths to the slides. Within the swamp are several drawings from the Ogre Triplets, and their likenesses can be seen on most of the signage.

Pinocchio's Fact Shack[]

An interactive booth within the swamp play area. Guests can push a button which causes Pinocchio to give a fun fact, which is always a lie that causes his nose to grow.

King Harold's Swamp Symphony[]

An interactive area where guests can stomp on lily pads to trigger musical ribbits from a frog choir led by King Harold. His iconic statue seen in Shrek the Third also resides in this area.

Mama Luna's Feline Fiesta[]

An interactive experience where guests can play with Mama Luna's many cats on interactive screens activated by buttons, bells, maracas, and levers. Occasionally, guests can trigger traps which summon Puss in Boots himself and members of the Three Bears Crime Family. You can also sometimes meet Kitty Softpaws in this area and even play the games with her.

DreamWorks Imagination Celebration[]

A 20-minute live show featuring the three major properties represented in DreamWorks Land. The show revolves around the hosts using their imaginations to explore the DreamWorks films while reliving their childhood memories. After the first musical number, the hosts find themselves in the world of Shrek, being summoned in the middle of the Dragon's Keep. Shrek and Donkey interact with the hosts, with them telling the heroes what they have to do in the story- Shrek saving the princess and Donkey distracting the Dragon. Soon after, Donkey and Dragon fall in love, which is then followed by a quick jump to the swamp where the story ends. The Shrek segment ends with a performance of "I'm a Believer," which features dancers dressed in medieval costumes. The show itself finishes with an ensemble finale featuring all of the main characters, including Shrek and Donkey, dancing to a mashup of "I Like to Move It" and "Can't Stop the Feeling."

Swamp Snacks[]

A snack stand offering Shrek inspired snacks. These include:

  • Shrekzel with green cheese sauce
  • Swamp Dog
  • Far Far A Waffle (Pepperoni or Ham & Cheese)
  • Mud Puddle Pudding
  • Frozen Ogre
  • Chunkey Donkey
  • Gingerbread Man

Various standard drinks are also provided, including alcoholic beverages.

A café which serves a handful of themed menu items. The Shrek-themed items include:

  • Ogreroni Pizza
  • Ogre Cheese Pizza
  • Strawberry Softpaws

Trivia[]

  • Shrek's major presence in the land serves as a pseudo-replacement for Shrek 4-D, which closed at Universal Studios Florida in January 2022.
  • Due to Puss in Boots appearing in Mama Luna's Feline Fiesta, you can only meet him in the small DreamWorks meet-and-greet booth near the land's entrance.
  • The Dragon puppet in DreamWorks Imagination Celebration is similar to the puppet used in various Shrek the Musical productions.
  • Characters such as Gingy, the Three Blind Mice, and the Tortoise appear as drawings in Shrek's Swamp for Little Ogres.
  • When stepping on the lily pads at King Harold's Swamp Symphony in a specific order, you can make the frogs say "Bud-Weis-Er"- a reference to the classic Budweiser Frogs ad campaign.
  • A portrait in Mama Luna's Feline Fiesta depicts a cat with an air pilot helmet with a woodpecker on its shoulder. This is a callback to the former Woody Woodpecker's Nut-House Coaster attraction.
  • The Pinocchio animatronic is programmed to say 50 different facts.
