The Gluphosaur is a type of Dinotrux from the franchise of the same name, a cross between a Dilophosaurus and a glue gun. It is able to shoot adhesive glue that can instantly hold any material together and strong enough to stick two to five or more trux together; the only solvent to the glue is salt.

Unlike most Dino trux that would eat almost any type of ore, Gluphosaurs prefer a specific type of ore that is green with orange specks.

Trivia[]

  • The Gluphosaur's neck frill and shooting glue from it's mouth resembles to the Dilophosaurus from the movie Jurassic Park that has an inaccurate neck frill and spit poison.

Rollodons (species)[]

Rollodon

Rollodons are a species from the Dinotrux franchise, a fusion of Centrosauruses with steamrollers. They are not a silent species of Dinotrux, but the only word they are known to speak is "Roll" which they say constantly. Though regarded by many as a nuisance or a menace, their talent for flattening everything in their path can be put to good use, as in rolling over tar and gravel to produce pavement. Curiously, Rollodons have a fear of the much smaller Reptools, and despite being willing to take on Dinotrux of equal or larger size to themselves will turn away from the smaller creatures.

Aquadons (species)[]

For information about the episode, see Aquadons (episode).

Aquadons are an aquatic species from the Dinotrux series; they are Mosasaurus-like mechanoids with chainsaw dorsal fins, club tails, and other features. Aquadons live in the seas and eat ore from the ocean floor, and are highly territorial and possessive of their food supply.

Sawmetradon (species)[]

Sawmetrodons are a breed of Dinotrux that combine elements of a Dimetrodon and a buzz saw.

Description[]

Sawmetrodons-judging by the one specimen who has appeared so far in the show-possess three large saw blades: one replacing the frill of a Dimetrodon, the others emerging from the sides of the body between the front and back treads. These serve to cut down trees so that Sawmetrodons can access buried ore in woodlands, but can also be used as a means of attack or defense.

Known Sawmetrodons[]

Scrapadactyls (species)[]

Scrapadactyls are Pteranodon-like creatures from the Dinotrux series that search for scrap; they look to be based on both pteranodons and metal clamps.

Variants[]

  • Common-the most often recurring type of Scrapadactyl, known for their rusty coloration.
  • Stealth-stealthy versions that possess motion-activated scanners.
  • Ocean-Scrapadactyls that fish Ore out of the open sea.

Wrecka[]

Wrecka (far left) with the other member of Garby's Gang.

Wrecka (voiced by Ashleigh Ball in US and Emma Tate in UK) is a yellow Ankylodump from the Dinotrux series and member of the Dumps, a group of daredevils that once included Ton-Ton. She and her teammates Drag-O and Scoot are known for their recklessness, which is unnerving and/or annoying to other Dinotrux, including their old friend Ton-Ton. However, Wrecka can also be a helpful ally to Ty Rux and his teammates, serving as a member of Garby's team of reserve Dinotrux and using her knowledge of demolition derby to great effect against D-Structs and other evil Dinotrux.

Craneosaur[]

Craneosaurs are a species of Dinotrux that combine aspects of a construction crane with a Brachiosaurus.

Description[]

Male Craneosaurs tend to have blocky, square-shaped heads, while female heads are more rounded. Both have conveyor belts running from the tops of their heads down their backs to the ends of the tails, which can run in either direction. Craneosaurs can also retract their necks into their bodies, though doing so for too long leads to cramps, or move their necks from standing straight up to sticking straight out in the direction they're traveling. Craneosaurs also have cable-like tongues with hooks on the end that they use for lifting various items.

Known Craneosaurus[]

Plowasaur[]

Plowasaur(Snowblazer)

Plowasaurs are a type of Dinotrux distantly related to Dozeratops and combining elements of a Chasmosaurus with those of a snowplow. They have a larger blade than that of most Dozeratops, and in place of a jackhammer tail have a drill which they use to burrow through frozen ground to extract Ore.

Known Plowasaurs[]

Trivia[]

  • Blayde, a unique female Dozeratops, is closer in size to a Plowasaur than most of her fellows and also has a blade closer in size to that of a Plowasaur; no known explanation for this exists.

Speed Trux[]

The Speed Trux are a villainous group of Dinotrux introduced in the episode Doom Run. Having heard of the alliance of Ty Rux and his fellow builders, the Speed Trux came together as a group to improve their chances of securing Ore and fighting off predators. However, the Speed Trux became violent and brutal, challenging other Trux to dangerous races and then taking parts from them when they lost.

The Speed Trux began to start racing ahead

Members[]

Stegarbasaurus[]

The Stegarbasaurus is a species of Dinotrux combining the qualities of a Stegosaurus and a garbage truck.

Descriptions[]

Unlike most species of Trux, which eat ore, Stegarbasaurs eat rocks, and process the stone into cubes that they then drop behind them; these bricks are useful for building. The process of Stegarbasaur digestion also produces a noxious gas which other Trux and Reptools find repellent. Their tails possess spikes which can be used as lifting claws, and the spines on their backs can be launched for various purposes. All Stegarbasaurs are green in color, with no visible differences between male and female.

Known Stegarbasaurs[]

Shockarachnids[]

Shockarachnid

Shockarachnids are a species from Dinotrux resembling gigantic mechanical spiders whose pincers function like tasers, disrupting the functions of Dinotrux and Reptools whom they strike. Shockarachnids also produce cable that they slide along and use to create strong webs.

Synopsis[]

In Dreadtrux, Part 1, Shockarachnids are one of the many creatures running away from the sleeping Dreadtrux that is about to be awaken.

In D-Stroy, a Shockarachnid was seen chasing Scrap-It but managed to got away and ends fighting a Stealth Scrapadactyl.

In Doom Run, Shockarachnids are one of the creatures part of the Doom Run race.

Junktools (species)[]

Junktool

Junktools are a species from Dinotrux consisting of tools who recycle various elements in order to improve their mobile caravans, though they are not above taking parts from living Dinotrux. They do not speak the same language as Dinotrux and Reptools, but can be communicated with by other means.

Liftasaurs are a species of Dinotrux, part Corythosaurus and part Forklift. A highly competitive species, they enjoy exerting themselves by lifting rocks to build huge towers, with different herds possessing differently colored crests. Liftasaurs seem to mimic bodybuilders, as indicated by their speech mannerisms and urge to lift heavy objects similar to weights.

Clamp Clams[]

Clamp Clams are mechanical clams from the Dinotrux series, known for their tendency to clamp down on other creatures. They first appear in "Aquadons", where they prove a menace to Ty Rux's group of Dinotrux and Reptools. In "Crabcavator" it is revealed that Clamp Clams produce platinum bearing pearls which can serve as replacement parts for Rotillian Reptools. Kelper, a Crabcavator, attempts to create a replacement shell for himself by melting down a number of these bearing pearls.

Dyscrapadons (species)[]

Dyscrapadons are a species from the Dinotrux series, resembling mechanical Dimorphodons with rotating saws in their beaks.

History[]

In "Dyscrapadons", Flapjaw is attacked by a flock of the creatures after Garby disturbs them while being carried by the Pteracopter. At first only juveniles assault Flapjaw, but disable his landing gear forcing him to remain in flight. While the Renegades are attempting to get a Reptool up to Flapjaw to repair him, the mother appears and leads her offspring in an attack. Fortunately, the Trux and Tools are eventually able to drive them off.
