Gary Allen Trousdale is an American film director, animator, screenwriter and storyboard artist. He is best known for directing films such as Beauty and the Beast, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Atlantis: The Lost Empire.

In 2003 he left Disney Animation to join DreamWorks Animation.
