Role in the series[]
In "The Olmec Babies", Sky asks her for help when she needs to determine where three Olmec Baby statues kept in the restricted wing of Briarstone Manor originally came from. When they first see each other, Sky refers to Georgia as Director Snitker, but Georgia insists they remain on a first name bias. She cannot help Sky however, as the Olmec civilization collapsed 2500 years ago and most of their temples where looted by tomb raiders in the centuries afterwards. There are also no records of Olmec artifacts that where sold after being looted. Georgia assumes Sky wants to know about the Olmecs because of the next exhibit at the museum, and she gives Sky a brief tour behind the scenes. She shows Sky a large collection of Olmec artifacts that the museum recently received, including a statue of a humanoid reptile.
Sky realizes the arrival of this statue coincided with the waking up of the Olmec Babies in the manor. She keeps this news from Georgia however and instead conspires with her kids to bring the Olmec Babies to the museum. Georgia is not seen again in the rest of the episode.
In "The Scryer Bowl", Sky and Pandora go to Georgia again to ask for her help after their attempt to contact Alex Vanderhouven with a scryer bowl failed. Georgia knows nothing about scryer bowls and is surprised that Sky would believe in such a thing, but she gives them the address of Neil Peckmin, whom she claims is an expert on devination objects. As Sky and Pandora leave, Georgia is clearly starting to get suspicious.
She makes a brief appearance in "The Memory Box", where she and Sky are discussing another artifact.
In "The Aztec Necklace", she helps Sky translate the hieroglyphs on the lid of Tlatoani's Defense, which mentions a third piece that is needed to make Tlatoani’s Defense work properly. After helping Sky, Georgia invites Sky in her office because she’s worried about Sky’s strange behavior the pasts months. Sky claims she is helping Alex with his book and they’re on a tight schedule.
In season 2, she has hired Sky as a new conservator for the museum and together they are preparing for the arrival of a rare Babylonian exhibit, which includes the legendary Throne of Sargon. When a Lapis Scarab is stolen from the museum, Georgia starts an investigation that includes asking all the museums staff, including Sky, to provide an alibi. Her suspicions of Sky increase when in "The Goodluck Bridle" she catches Sky looking up information on the missing scarab in the museum archives. The real reason Sky is doing this is because she found the scarab in the restricted wing, where it was damaging the briar, but she can't tell this to Georgia and thus lies that seh was preparing for the next exhibit after the Babylonian Exhibit is moved again. When Sky leaves the viewer sees that Georgia isn’t buying her story and knows Sky is withholding information.
In "Dr. Terrifico's Strength Tonic", Georgia is visited by Alex, who wants to talk to her in private. Unbeknown to Georgia, Alex is being possessed by the spirit of Cornelius Vanderhouven, and he is trying ot use her to get Sky out of the way. He lies to Georgia that Sky is not herself lately and is suffering from things like blackouts and sleepwalking. He then gives her the Lapis Scarab, claiming he found it among Sky's stuff. Georgia buys the lie and has Sky summoned to her office. Sky with the stolen Lapis Scarab that Alex has returned to her. Sky of course denies all accusations of theft and claims it is Alex, not her, who is acting strange lately and having blackouts. Georgia truly wants to believe Sky, but the facts are speaking against her and Sky’s constant refusal to tell the truth is not doing her credibility any good. Georgia leaves Sky alone in her office to think about the situation, but locks the door to keep her from escaping.
Sky does escape with help of her kids, and together they learn about Cornelius' end game; he wants to use the throne of Sargon to permanently take over Alex' body. The night Cornelius makes his move, Sky, Russ, Pandora and Margie all come to the museum to stop him. Caparaz, the museum guard on duty that night, warns Georgia, who arrives in time to see the Vanderhouvens fight off the sand statues that guard the throne. After Sky deactivates the throne and Alex is saved, Georgia reveals herself and is stunned that the legend regarding the throne was true. She also meets Larry and Stanley, who where assisting the Vanderhouvens, for the first time. Georgia tells Sky they will deal with this internally as the authorities would never believe them. She is not seen again after this, but presumably Sky let her in on the family secret now that Georgia already witnessed so much.
