Steve "Gooch" Yamaguchi is a recurrent character in the DreamWorks•Netflix's series, The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants.

Throughout the entire series, Gooch has more-or-less been considered the dimwitted and incompetent student who doesn't know everything around him.
Physical Appearance[]
He resembles a 10-year-old Japanese-American boy who wears his hair in a bowl cut and usually wears blue glasses. His outfit consists of a pink shirt with a white collar, blue shorts, matching shoes, and a watch.
Role in the series[]
Throughout the entire series, he appears in almost every episode, yet for an unknown reason, he is not shown as much of a major character in these episodes except for in "The Confounding Concoction of the Crooked Combotato", where, due to Melvin Sneedly's lack of physically abilities, George and Harold disguise Gooch as Melvin so that they can have fun in camp. However, it starts to rain, trapping all of the kids at one of the camp's sanctuaries, where they play a game that consists of filling in an unfinished story, in which Gooch's part of the story is resembled in a line less style with flat colors, showing how not so bright he is inside.
