Trivia[]
- The first twenty four notes are to the tune of In the Hall of the Mountain King.
- In several European langauges, "Bergen" means "Mountain", the name refers to how a Bergen looks like to a Troll; a mountain. King Gristle is also the King of the Bergens; ergo, "The Mountain King". The first time the song plays, the camera is going through the castle, in short, Bergen castle is "The Halls of the Mountain King".
- The Bergens are also loosely designed after the Trolls of Norse mythology, the origin Mountain King of the song is a Troll.
- The other original song in trolls, "Can't Stop the Feeling," is nearly the opposite of this song.
- When the song is heard a second time, the line "I've got a fever coming on" plays when Chef is boiling something.
