How to Train Your Dragon 2 is an upcoming live-action remake of the animated sequel of the same name. The film was announced on April 2, 2025 at CinemaCon. It will be produced by Marc Platt Productions and distributed by Universal Pictures. It is scheduled for release theatrically on June 11, 2027.
