Background[]
Personality[]
She is an expert on Indigenous Australian folklore.
Physical Appearance[]
Inala is an Indigenous Australian woman with long brown hair and glasses. Her totem animal is the kangaroo.
Role in the Series[]
As a child, Inala would go camping in the Australian outback with her mother. During these trips her mother would share stories with her, including the myth of the Bunyip.
At some point prior to the start of the series, she met Alex Vanderhouven and became good friends with him, staying in touch till the show's present day.
In "The Didgeridoo", Alex contacts her for help when the Vanderhouvens find a cursed didgeridoo in their home. Inala identifies the markings on the didgeridoo as those of a tribe in Queensland, and gives Alex and Pandora instructions to a place called The Billabong where they can find the Woolly Butt Tree that this tribe makes their Didgeridoos out of. Inala only interacts with Alex and Pandora through a video call as she was unable to meet them in person. After Alex and Pandora are attacked by the Bunyip, they call Inala again, who identifies the creature and is surprised to learn it actually exists. She tells the Vanderhouvens the myth about the Bunyip's origin, and that the curse of the didgeridoo can be broken by playing the Bunyip's song on the didgeridoo. She does not know this song however, claiming it has been lost over time since most Indigenous Australian history was passed down orally.
