    • In "Happy Holo-ween" Peter calls the FBI before creating his hologram in case it turned on him, but all it consisted of was a drawing of Spider-Man. Previously, he'd sent a drawing of The Hulk, which the agents mistook for Shrek.
    • In "The Bird Reich" Chris views 2004 with nostalgia, referencing Shrek 2 while restoring a Saturn Ion.
    • In "Hell Comes to Quahog" the owner of a Hummer watches Madagascar while driving, causing him to run over several smaller vehicles.
    • In "It's A Trap" while firing the cannons on the AT-ST, Chewbacca says "skadoosh", catchphrase of Po from Kung Fu Panda.
    • In "White Meg Can't Jump" Stewie is suggested a video called "Joe Rogan interviews Boss Baby".
    • In "HBO-No" Chris believes that The Boss Baby was scary, but Peter notes that it was only one part.
  • Futurama
    • In "The Bots and the Bees", after Fry says that he went to the bathroom and his pee was green, Hermes says that he was wondering who Shrek'd in the toilet.
    • In "2-D Blacktop", after he, Fry, Leela, and Bender are collapsed down into two dimensions, the professor says that the new Shrek movie won't look nearly as good.
    • In "Three Hundred Big Boys" it appears is a genetics lab called GeneWorks, S.K.G., with a logo similar to the DreamWorks Animation's one.
  • Inside Job: Brett mentions "Accidentally in Love" from Shrek 2 in the episode "Rontagion".
  • Last Week Tonight with John Oliver: In the August 21, 2022 episode, John watches a 2011 Reverb PSA in which My Chemical Romance says they're going to "green things up", which he says sounds like something Shrek would say right before reaching a sexual climax.

  • Whose Line Is It Anyway? (American version):
    • In "Show No. 306", after the "Scenes Cut From a Movie" sketch, Drew tells Colin that his Scottish accent sounds less like Mel Gibson in Braveheart and more like "the woman from Chicken Run."
    • During the "Hats" segment of "Show No. 319", Wayne puts on a chicken hat and claims that his "lovin's so good, it'll make your chicken run. See, it's a movie!"

  • Time to Orbit: Unknown: In this story's future setting, the "post the entire script of Bee Movie" meme has resulted in Bee Movie being one of the few works of "pre-Neocambrian" art that remains perfectly preserved, though the people of the future have misinterpreted "Bee Movie" as being a description and believe the true title to be lost.
