Majungasaurus is a genus of abelisaurid theropod dinosaur that appeared in DreamWorks•Netflix's series, Jurassic World: Chaos Theory.
Background[]
Behavior[]
Like many theropod dinosaur, Majungasaurus is known to be predatory hunting any prey. They are known to ambush their prey that were unexpected it. Unlike most theropod, Majungasaurus are known to be cannibals to other of their kind unless they can be social during mating season.
Physical Appearance[]
Majungasaurus is a bipedal dinosaur with three toes on each foot. They have small arms with four stubby fingers on each hand. Majungasaurus have small spines running down its neck, back, and tail. They have a mouth full of thirty-four short, stout teeth. They have a short, deep, and broad head.
Role in the series[]
The Indominus rex was made from Majungasaurus DNA along with many other species.
In "Batten Down the Hatches", two Majungasauruses were imported on a ship. However, one of them killed the other one while inside the same container.
In "All Night Long", Yaz was roaming alone in the jungle at night and was encountered by a lone lion until it was killed by Majungasaurus from behind. Majungasaurus reveals itself out of the fog to Yaz.
In "Decisions, Decisions...", Sammy looks into the tablet and see that Majungasaurus is at Biosyn Valley.
