Mama Luna is a classic "crazy cat lady" as she keeps numerous cats in her house, both fluffy and shorthair, loves caring for them, though she has a condescending side to her in that she doesn't allow rude behavior that she doesn't approve of (such as Puss using the toilet instead of the singular litter box or allowing him to cook food instead of eat the dry catfood she provides) in which she lends a spray every time Puss doesn’t abide to her rules. Mama Luna also gives her cats silly names, such as renaming Puss 'Pickles'.
She is reclusive, denying entry to mischievous or unwelcome people, thinking they're from the health department, and denying she owns any cats at all. She's clearly not the smartest person in the room, as she was unable to tell that Perrito was a dog in a kitty costume.

- The reason Mama Luna named Puss “Pickles” is, due to her sight problems, which is why she wears circle rimmed frame glasses, she embroidered the name on Puss’ temporary collar so she remembers that, for cats like Puss or her cats, to not give pickles to cats, as in real life, pickles are harmful to cats because of their high salt contents.
