MegaMind (first known as Master Mind and then Oobermind) is an upcoming animated comedy film produced by Dreamworks Animation. The film will be released on November 5, 2010. Tom McGrath will direct the film.
The official 46-second teaser trailer for MegaMind was released on March 18, 2010. It was first shown in theaters with How to Train Your Dragon the 2nd tralier was shown in front of Shrek Forever After.
Plot
When super villain MegaMind (Will Ferrell) defeats his archrival Metro Man (Brad Pitt), the world should be his oyster. But instead, MegaMind falls into total despair. It turns out that life without a rival is life without a purpose for him. So he creates a new superhero rival, Tighten (Jonah Hill). Unfortunately for him and the world, the new hero wants to be a super villain too. The new villain begins his rampage, and MegaMind sets out to stop him, beginning a path to redemption in the process.
