The Megamind franchise is one of the six secondary franchises (alongside Spirit, The Croods, The Boss Baby, Captain Underpants and The Bad Guys) of DreamWorks Animation.

Megamind, the greatest villain in the world, realizes that his greatest wish is not all it's been cracked up to be. With the help of his loyal Minion, Megamind decides to create a hero who unfortunately instead of using his powers for good, sets out for mass destruction, positioning Megamind to save the day for the first time in his life.

Megamind vs. The Doom Syndicate (2024)[]

Taking place two days after where the first movie left off, Megamind, thrust into his new role as the hero of Metro City, finds the job a bit more difficult than expected. His minion wants a promotion, Roxanne tells him heroes aren't allowed to blow up buildings for some reason, and, to make matters worse, Megamind's old villain buddies come to town, thinking his recent heroism is all a ploy to take over Metro City once and for all.
