Merlin is a supporting character in the DreamWorks film, Shrek the Third. He is a retired wizard teacher from Artie's high school, Worcestershire.

Role in the film

In the film, he is seen when Shrek and Artie are going to Far Far Away and eventually slept at his hut for the night. He also got Shrek back to Far Far Away where he switched bodies between Donkey and Puss. In the end of the film, he switched them back.
