The Metro Man's Parents (Lady Sally Scott and Lord Robert Scott) are minor characters in the DreamWorks film, Megamind.
Background[]
Lady Scott and Lord Scott are a couple of upper-class citizens of Metro City, and the adoptive parents of Metro Man.
The couple was sitting in their living room when a golden child sized rocket containing an alien baby entered their mansion and landed right under their Christmas tree. Lady Sally Scott found the pod as she was about to open her presents and, thinking the baby was a gift from her husband for her adopted him, while Lord Robert Scott didn't bother to look up from his newspaper to see his new son.
Lady Sally Scott's comment on the baby being a "thoughtful" present implies that she Scott loves children and had been wanting one of her own for awhile, while Lord Robert Scott's lack of interest in the baby Metro Man gives understand that he was not interested in having children. Their current status is unknown.
