Mister Geppetto, or Geppetto, is a minor character in the DreamWorks Shrek franchise. He is Pinocchio's father and creator.

From what is seen of Mister Geppetto, he is shown to be rather selfish and greedy, as he sold his son, Pinocchio, for a couple of coins without a second of thought. His greediness is shown again in a flashback where he makes Pinocchio dance in front of an audience for cash, showing that his is not above child labor to make a quick buck.

In Shrek Forever After, Pinocchio tries to pass Geppetto off as Shrek.
Puss in Boots: The Last Wish[]
Mister Geppetto makes a cameo in a flashback when "Big" Jack Horner is reminded of his childhood when one of the two Serpent Sisters joke about it. He is helping run Pinocchio's show booth when the puppet is performing, making "Little" Jack Horner envious.
Scared Shrekless[]
In the tale The Shrekorcist, Mr. Geppetto hires Shrek to exorcise the possessed Pinocchio because he has no other choice.
