Monsieur Hood is an antagonist in Shrek. He believes Shrek intended to harm Fiona.

As Fiona sings, he is heard crying "La liberté" (which is French for "the freedom") and swings Fiona up in a tree. He and the Merry Men sing a Merry tune, but as he threatnens to kill Shrek, Fiona defeats him and the Merry Men.
