Gloria falls in love with Moto Moto at first sight. He, too, fell in love with her at first sight, but Gloria lost interest after she found out on a date with Moto Moto that he only likes her for her body, and then Gloria leaves him, but they still remain friends.

Later he helps Gloria and the other animals dig for water after the watering hole dries up, but to their disappointment only finds diamonds and gold.
