Out there, I'm just a scary, good-for-nothing...monster! Yeah. But nothing compares to having the one guy - the one guy - I thought I could trust...stab me in the back.
―Mr. Snake.

Mr. Snake (also known simply by his surname Snake) is the deuteragonist in the DreamWorks The Bad Guys franchise. He is the sarcastic safe-cracking Burmese python.

Background[]

Official Description[]

Mr. Wolf’s second-in-command and best friend, Mr. Snake is an Eastern brown snake whose ability to slither into the tightest of spots and crack the most secure of safe’s makes him an invaluable member of the Bad Guys gang. However, his cynical outlook on life and sarcastic demeanor also proves to be a damper on many occasions, especially when Mr. Wolf decides it is time for the Bad Guys to go “good.”[1]

Personality[]

Mr. Snake is a rather feisty, cynical, grumpy individual who sees the world in a negative view. He is quite snarky and sarcastic, as he is frequently making snide comments on just about anything.

Snake can be rather greedy even towards the other members of the group, shown when he never shares his Push-Pops to Mr. Shark and instead tease him by eating them before he can get a taste. Despite this, however, he is willing to give Shark the Push-Pop to cheer him up, as seen where their things get repossessed from their hideout and Shark breaks down crying.

Due to being the most fiery of the team, he gets heartbroken and even angry or aloof when someone, particularly a person who he is close too, stabs him in the back. A prominent example of this when after Diane Foxington (As The Crimson Paw) breaks them out of prison, Snake vents his anger to Mr. Wolf on how the latter lied to him and the others and how he abandoned them to be on the side of good.

Snake has the personality traits of a "Chessmaster" as he is deep down very intelligent and clever. This is evidenced in his plan to take down Professor Marmalade by tricking him that he is on the latter's side, thus giving him the chance to destroy Lover Crate Meteorite and expose him as the true villain he is.

Despite his grumpy and aloof nature, Snake genuinely cares about his friends and his quite loyal to them, even if it seems like he turned his back on them. He also can't stand to see them endanger themselves, as seen when they chases Marmalade's helicopter and the former using the mind-controlled Guinea Pigs to stop them, Snake tries to convinced Marmalade to not hurt them.

Physical Appearance[]

Mr. Snake is an anthropomorphic Burmese python with its species basic traits - such as a snake's tail, a forked tongue, fangs sticking out of his mouth (left one is chipped), and the chain-pattern which are colored in various shades of copper brown, with a dull amber underbelly. He also sport narrow black eyebrows and eyes with noticeable caramel brown irises. He is implied to be the oldest of the group.

Throughout the movie, Snake’s trademark is a comfort casual aesthetic . His main attire is that of a khaki bucket hat with a darker-colored band and two emoji pins on each side (sad right, angry left), and a red Hawaiian button-up shirt with a white Hibiscus flower pattern. Due to having no arms, the shirt has no sleeves.

During the Golden Dolphin award ceremony, Snake sported a disguise which consists of a black wig and fake bushy mustache, a monocle on his right eye, and a fancy costume that features a maroon top hat, and a matching suit-jacket with bright red lapels and buttons, worn over a white collared shirt with a large bright red bowtie. He also had rubber gloves on the sleeves to blend in.

During Marmalade's attempts at teaching the Bad Guys good behavior, Snake dons a pink unicorn onesie.

During the Gala for Goodness, Snake was dressed in a dark royal-blue, no-sleeved buttoned blazer over a cropped white collared shirt.

When the Bad Guys are temporarily sent to prison, Snake is dressed in an orange prison uniform with no sleeves, typical for his usual attires.

For any technical and stealthy portions of heists and missions, Snake will be dressed in a one-piece, black latex stealthy bodysuit with a crosstrap backpack .

In "The Bad Guys: A Very Bad Holiday", "The Bad Guys: Haunted Heist", and "The Bad Guys: Breaking In", he wears a red winter jacket with a dark red zipper in the middle and white stripes on the side.

At the beginning of The Bad Guys 2, he wears a sea blue/darker blue button-up Hawaiian shirt, thin round gold rimmed sunglasses with magenta frames, fuzzy multi-colored bucket hat, and gold and black headphones. When he leaves for vinyāsa, he puts on a hot pink spandex gym suit and a bright yellow athletic headband. He also gains a retractable ten-pack.

When he goes into space, he wears a white space suit which he shares with Piranha.

After becoming a secret agent of ISGLOP, he wears a suit comprised of a black blazer over a white dress shirt with a black tie and sunglasses.

Appearances[]

The Books[]

Mr. Snake is one of the three outlaws recruited by Mr. Wolf, along with Mr. Piranha and Mr. Shark, to form the Good Guys Club. Of the three, he is the most reluctant and critical of the concept, with sarcastic quips and chiding Mr. Wolf at every opportunity, especially when things go south. However, he wants to be a hero, but feels he's not capable and will always be seen as a monster. But if given the chance, he strives to do the right thing.

Following the time travel incident, Mr. Snake was granted telepathic powers, able to lift objects with his mind and perform mind control. When the aliens attempted to steal all of the super powers back, Mr. Snake was caught in the cannon, accidentally absorbing all of the powers at once. This lead him to figuring out the key to defeating the alien invasion, by convincing the other aliens to rebel against Dr. Rupert Marmalade.

Mr. Snake spent over a year isolating himself from his friends, contemplating and exploring his new powers. His growing familiarity and boredom with his universe lead him to be vulnerable to the corruption of the Underlords. He was transformed into the Dark Lord of Serpents, with the goal of converting all of his friends into Dark Lords as well. Flashbacks of his childhood revealed that he was bullied until he met a young Mr. Wolf, who taught him how to be "bad" and stand up for himself.

Past[]

4 years before the events of the first film, the Bad Guys, with their new recruit Ms. Tarantula joining them for her first heist, pull off a perfectly executed heist at the home of Mr. Soliman in Cairo, Egypt where they steal his beloved muscle car which becomes their famous main ride. With help from Ms. Tarantula, they manage to escape the police on the streets of Cairo.

The Bad Guys: Breaking In[]

To be added...

The Bad Guys: Haunted Heist[]

Before the events of the film and the Christmas special, Wolf tells the gang about a legendary treasure belonging to Reginald E. Scary, saying that anyone who takes it will be haunted for life. They don't believe him, however he is known to prank them on Halloween by scaring them. He promises not to scare them when he heads to Scary's mansion. While there, they are constantly frightened by the automatic devices that Scary set up to scare off the thieves. They manage to find the treasure, the amulet, and steal it, but not before Wolf plays one more prank on them.

In their hideout, Wolf starts going crazy, hearing music that no one else is making, and having a strange dream. Thinking he must return the amulet to appease Scary, Wolf gathers the crew to return to the mansion. They head to the mansion when the gang is kidnapped, leading to Wolf returning the amulet. It soon became apparent that the others were making fun of Wolf after he did the same to them. However, when Wolf takes the amulet again, it disintegrates before revealing that he knew about the prank. The others are angry with him.

The Bad Guys: A Very Bad Holiday[]

Prior to the events depicted in the film, the Bad Guys are traversing the city with the intention of carrying out a bank heist on Christmas. They plan to use the fact that people will be preoccupied with celebration in their homes. During a parade, their vehicle becomes entangled with a cherished Santa Claus balloon, resulting in its unintentional destruction. Consequently, the city's morale plummets to such an extent that Christmas is called off. Worried about the feasibility of their crime, the Bad Guys decide to uplift the spirits of the city. Initially, Webs proposes substituting the balloon with a Santa Claus exoskeleton she has constructed, however, the remaining members of the group object, seeing it excessively menacing in appearance. Alternatively, Wolf proposes the idea of reconstructing the balloon, but, the outcome is unsightly and subsequently abandoned.

With only 12 hours remaining before Christmas morning, their intention is to infiltrate a radio station in order to broadcast Christmas songs once more, as they have been supplanted by rap music. Meanwhile, Wolf and Snake will pilfer presents and distribute them to people's residences. Despite the plan's success, Wolf believes that snow is necessary to completely revive people's enthusiasm. To do this, Webs alters a street-side shaved ice machine. However, Wolf, against her instructions, amplifies its power output. The snowfall commences, but rapidly escalates into an ice storm that instills fear and panic throughout the city. The gang admonishes Wolf for his proclivity to exceed reasonable limits, but they pardon him when he confesses that his intention was merely to orchestrate the most exceptional heist for their benefit, rather than seeking to impress them. Wolf using the Santa Claus exoskeleton to disable the ice machine. After the storm subsides, the exoskeleton assumes the role of the city's esteemed champion and symbol. Using its microphone, Shark instructs the inhabitants to return to their residences.

The criminals return to their secret location, but, they have contracted a respiratory illness and are unable to proceed with the planned theft. Unexpectedly and with a sense of disappointment, they discover gifts from Santa Claus, despite their consistent acts of kindness. Consequently, they initiate the development of a strategy to burglarize Santa's workshop in order to demonstrate their eligibility for the naughty list.

The Bad Guys[]

Disclaimer: May need some parts cut down. Contains heavy spoilers.

Mr. Snake is one of the five members of Mr. Wolf's Bad Guys, acting as the safe cracker, in which Mr. Wolf compares him as Houdini with no limbs, as he is a snake. Mr. Snake is also Mr. Wolf's 2nd in Command, due to Mr. Wolf stating that Mr. Snake is his best friend for a long time. During the opening of the film, it is Mr. Snake's birthday, to which they celebrate by committing a heist of a bank in Downtown Los Angeles while picking up a cake for the Bad Guys to share, much to Mr. Snake's resentment to his birthdays.

After Diane Foxington insults that the Gang are has-beens for stealing another bank, Mr. Wolf schemes to steal the Golden Dolphin at the Museum of Fine Arts. Mr. Snake responds saying that they shouldn't do schemes for personal reasons, but when the Award is given to Professor Marmalade, Mr. Snake (who loves guinea pigs as food) ends up agreeing with Mr. Wolf and the rest of the Gang to steal the Award. However, after being caught, Mr. Wolf quickly schemes up a new plan of stealing the Dolphin again which is to be reformed as Good Guys, present the Award to Marmalade, and leave with the original Award at the Gala of Goodness, to which, Mr. Snake calls it the old-switcharoo.

During the film's progress, Professor Marmalade's Mission is to have the Gang save 200,000 Guinea Pigs from the Sunnyside Laboratories due to Guinea Pig Experiments being cruel. As the Gang attempts the Rescue Mission, Mr. Snake's irresistible appetite to consuming Guinea Pigs ends up having Mr. Snake eat a whole lot of Guinea Pigs. This angers the Gang as they were supposed to save them, not eat them. After the failed Rescue Mission, the Gang's reputation of turning into Good Guys falls alongside with Governor Foxington's approval ratings for giving the Gang a 2nd Chance, to which Diane lets her frustration out to them.

Later on when Mr. Wolf ends up rescuing the Cat above a Palm Tree by himself, Mr. Snake overhears Professor Marmalade's talk with Mr. Wolf stating that Mr. Wolf will eventually have to choose to either stay with the Gang or drop them in order to succeed having a better image. This results into Mr. Snake feeling concerned that Mr. Wolf may actually drop them if their public image ends up resulting them into reformed Good Guys, but Mr. Wolf calms him doubts down stating that this is all part of the Golden Dolphin Heist, as in a few days, the Gang will be presented to present Professor Marmalade's Golden Dolphin Award.

During the Gala of Goodness Party while the Gang were setting up for the Heist, Mr. Snake ends up nearly being caught when Chief Luggins unknowingly slams the open briefcase with the Code for the Dolphin Case with Mr. Snake's tail in the case. Panicking to save Mr. Snake being caught, Mr. Piranha ends up improvising a song being Good Tonight to which the Gang, Diane, and the Audience party up, reaching nearly $1 Billion in donations for charity.

Mr. Snake and the Gang are called up to present the Dolphin for Professor Marmalade, however, Mr. Wolf ends up going AWOL as Mr. Wolf actually awards Marmalade the Award, shocking Mr. Snake. In sudden turn of events, the Lights go off which was part of the scheme, and the Heart-Shaped Meteorite ended up being stolen. Mr. Wolf's "So long, suckers!" on the TV Screen didn't help, which ends up both a panicked Mr. Wolf giving the location to Diane to their base with all the looted items and the Gang ending up being arrested again for a crime they never committed, tarnishing their Good Guys image further. It was later revealed that Professor Marmalade both stole the meteorite and manipulated Mr. Wolf, resulting Mr. Snake asking what is Marmalade talking about. Marmalade admits that he was disguised as the senior lady that nearly fell off the stairs that gave Mr. Wolf the satisfaction of doing a good deed that results the tail wag, resulting that Mr. Wolf may have actually thought of dropping them before Mr. Wolf attacks Marmalade where Marmalade kicks the Police Truck doors open showing that they will never change for the better.

During the S.U.C.M Prison Scene, Mr. Snake tells Mr. Wolf that he heard his talk with Marmalade about cutting them off, and that their life was better than Mr. Wolf stating he was trying to find the Gang a better life. Mr. Wolf ends up saying that the audience loved them for the Gala with all the cheering and approval, to which Mr. Snake responds if they REALLY love the reformed Gang, why are they in prison for a crime they never committed. Mr. Snake ends up agreeing with Professor Marmalade point about the world being seen for what it is: Some people being scary, and people are scared. This ends up Mr. Wolf stating that he is tired of being seen as an outcast, and Snake demands Wolf to say that he doesn't want to be the Bad Guy anymore. When Wolf fails to say the words, Snake ask if they, his lifelong friends, are just a burden to him and Wolf, in a fit of anger, snaps and yells, "Yeah, maybe you are!". This confession makes Mr. Snake feeling betrayed and furious to Mr. Wolf, it resulted them having a fight with each other as he demands that Wolf apologize.

Suddenly, a Ninja ends up rescuing the Gang, which who turns out to be Diane Foxington, the Governor of California. Mr. Wolf ends up realizing that she is The Crimson Paw, the greatest criminal in history who, after doing numerous heists, cemented a Legacy for stealing the highest guarded Zumpango Diamond twice: once for profit, second time for fun (probably the ring she wears). After a successful breakout, Foxington and Mr. Wolf both think on what is Professor Marmalade scheming and how to stop it, but upon arriving at the beach, Mr. Snake, Mr. Piranha, Ms. Tarantula, and Mr. Shark ends up parting ways with Mr. Wolf. This makes Mr. Snake reveal why he loathes his Birthdays: When growing up as a snake, nobody shows up to his party, and that its a reminder that in the outside world, Mr. Snake is seen as a "scary, good for nothing, monster", and worse recently as Mr. Wolf, his only best friend, stab him in the back for choosing good.

When the rest of the Gang arrived home, the home's loot has entirely been confiscated after Mr. Wolf decided to turn himself in and rest of the Gang along with their entire loot in without their permission. Mr. Snake, albeit angry that Mr. Wolf gave back the loot, goes to the Fridge and sees all the photos of the gang together and opens up the freezer to see a single Push Pop Popsicle. While Mr. Shark was crying for losing everything, Mr. Snake gives him the only Push Pop so Mr. Shark can calm down. This surprises the Gang as Mr. Snake is actually being good for them, however Mr. Snake states he's not good, he's just putting Mr. Shark's needs over his own self, to which the Gang tells him that is literally being good. This makes Ms. Tarantula realize they can actually be more than just scary monsters, which results everyone getting their "tail wag". Mr. Snake also ends up liking his wag, but resents it saying that they will always be Bad Guys, storms off fuming, and abandons the Gang.

After Mr. Wolf and Diane ends up being captured by Professor Marmalade, Marmalade reveals both his heist plan involving to steal the $1 Billion Charity Money using mind control with the meteorite properties and that Mr. Snake has teamed up with him, which angers Mr. Wolf for Mr. Snake teaming up with Marmalade who is a guinea pig. Mr. Snake asks if he could try out the mind control helmet that Marmalade was using and says its really fun using it. As they both leave, Marmalade tells Cuddles to finish them, to which Mr. Wolf and Diane were slowly being lowered into a massive grinder. However, the Gang successfully saves both and quickly steals the Meteorite from Marmalade and Mr. Snake. This results in a chase throughout Los Angeles.

As the Gang successfully saved the $1 Billion Charity Money and were ready to turn themselves in and the Meteorite after all agreeing, the Gang refused as they can't do it without Mr. Snake after seeing Mr. Snake's Party Hat, which angers Chief Luggins as Diane sighs. While Professor Marmalade and Mr. Snake were fighting over who was screwing up the heist, the Gang comes in with Mr. Wolf's Car to get back Mr. Snake. Marmalade sees the Gang and uses mind control to kill the Gang with the guinea pigs, much to Mr. Snake's disapproval. Mr. Wolf attempts to negotiate a deal with Marmalade where he'll give the Meteorite in return for Mr. Snake safely, but the deal does not go through as Marmalade kicks Mr. Snake out of the Helicopter, sending Mr. Snake to his Death. Shocked for not wanting to lose his best friend for good, Mr. Wolf rams through the Road Closed Signs and drives into the Los Angeles Meteorite Crater to save Mr. Snake.

After a big warm hug between Mr. Snake and Mr. Wolf, with the Gang all together, Mr. Wolf's Car explodes upon impact and the Gang uses a grappling hook for their safety, while Marmalade loses his mind control helmet due to the car's explosion shockwave, resulting the guinea pigs going back home. Upon getting up, Chief Luggins arrests the Gang after the Gala Meteorite Heist, to which Diane wanted to reveal her criminal status to save the Gang's arrestment, but Mr. Wolf and the Gang decided to take the heat by stating that Diane is a big fan of redemption arcs while deciding to turn themselves in, saving Diane from revealing her former criminal status. Soon enough, Marmalade comes back with the Meteorite, to which Tiffany Fluffit with the media and the public praises Marmalade for saving it, which angers Mr. Snake, the Gang after Marmalade insults them for saying that bad guys = bad, good guys = good.

However, while Professor Marmalade was being interviewed by Tiffany, Chief Luggins notices that its not the meteorite, its a lamp, which shocks everyone but Mr. Snake, to which, he was darkly laughing. Turns out, after storming off fuming, Mr. Snake ended up both loving his tail wagging and schemed his own plan for a payback to Marmalade. Teaming up with Marmalade as both were Bad Guys in the end, Mr. Snake asks if he could use the mind control helmet, to which Mr. Snake controls the guinea pigs to steal the lamp displayed in Marmalade's mansion, giving it a paint job, and replaces the original meteorite with the lamp. This means that the meteorite chase was all over a lamp as the original meteorite was placed back on where the Gang stole it. As Mr. Snake and Marmalade were off to chase the Gang, Mr. Snake controls the guinea pigs to put the original meteorite back in its original place and was set into overdrive, which had been into overdrive over the span of the chase. Marmalade then questions if that's the lamp, where is the Meteorite, to which Mr. Snake laughs at him and says the old switcheroo. As Mr. Snake snaps his tail, the Marmalade Mansion explodes with the overdriving Meteorite, shocking Marmalade as the Gang goes to prison all smirking to Marmalade, while Mr. Piranha still saying that the Lamp looks like a posterior. As the Lamp falls on top of Marmalade, Chief Luggins also notices that the Diamond near him isn't just any kind of Diamond, to which Marmalade ends up being accused for being the Crimson Paw after Luggins identified the Diamond being the Zumpango Diamond, much to Marmalade protesting that Diane is the Crimson Paw, but everyone ignores him.

During the car ride to prison, the Gang praises Mr. Snake for pulling off the biggest old switcheroo, with Mr. Snake stating that the Meteorite was dangerous and somebody had to destroy it. Mr. Wolf also softly praises him as well, but Mr. Snake responded that he not only fooled Marmalade, he also got Mr. Wolf to admit how much he cared about him. Mr. Wolf then asks who left the one Push Pop in the Fridge which surprises Mr. Snake, to which Mr. Wolf says that he knew Mr. Snake was a Good Guy after all, with the Gang all laughing, much to Mr. Snake's surprisement.

Roughly a year has passed after the events of the Film, and it is once again Mr. Snake's Birthday, to which Mr. Wolf asks if he met a Genie, what would be his 3 wishes, to which Mr. Snake says he's fine with what he got: Freedom, Friends, and good reptile scales for his age. As they leave, they all laugh about Mr. Snake saying how good he looks for his age. Stuck in the middle of the a Desert from the outskirts of Los Angeles, Mr. Snake ends up "wishing for a ride", to which Mr. Wolf makes his "wish" come true. Diane with the Tree Kitten comes to pick up the Gang, which surprises Mr. Wolf as its his Car, but fixed from scratch up. Mr. Wolf asks the Audience if they aren't so scary after all. Mr. Wolf tells Ms. Tarantula to "hit it", she puts a Song, all putting a pair of Sunglasses, and Mr. Wolf drives back to Los Angeles with everyone in joy.

Maraschino Ruby[]

Mr. Wolf and Mr. Snake exit a gas station convenience store while reading a newspaper. On the front page is an article about The Maraschino Ruby. Snake questions why The Bad Guys would want to steal the Ruby, as it is too dangerous. Wolf is confused by this, given that they have a clean slate. Wolf also mentions Police Chief Misty Luggins' statement: "The Ruby is safe from those stupid, lame and stupid Bad Guys." Appalled at being called stupid twice, Snake decides to help. As they get into the car with their friends, Wolf catches Snake licking a Push Pop, asking him if he paid for it. Snake sarcastically answers, and the LAPD show up. The Bad Guys drive off. Wolf explains his strategy to get into the Museum of Fine Arts and get to the Ruby.

Meanwhile, Luggins catches someone, believing them to be The Bad Guys, and says she anticipated them to be here after calling them stupid twice, but discovers that it is really Officer Bob, much to her confusion. Bob says that the News believes the Maraschino Ruby to be fake and, upon inspecting it, he confirms it to be made of candy. Luggins confirms this too, as she made it and that she has the real Ruby. Luggins tells him that it's part of a plan to catch The Bad Guys: she believes The Bad Guys might still be pretending to go good and wants to prove it by catching them with the Ruby after they reacted to her making a comment about them with two stupids instead of one. However, much to her shock, Bob tells her that The Bad Guys were already arrested earlier today.

At the police station, Luggins finds the Bad Guys (minus Shark) in the interrogation room, with Wolf commenting on her statement. Bob tells her that they were brought in for stealing a Push Pop. Snake says they allegedly did it, but after he licks the Push Pop, he realizes that he and his friends are busted. Luggins gloats at them and declares them guilty, even if it was for a minor felon. However, before she can book them, Shark comes in disguised as a lawyer named Jude Lawson, and presents Luggins with a receipt for 79 cents, proving that they did not steal the Push Pop. However, he adds that Luggins was breaking the law herself by committing entrapment when she planted the fake Maraschino Ruby for them to steal. At Shark's request, Bob arrests her, confirming this since it is a major legal infraction. Wolf tells Luggins that he and his friends won't press charges if he retracts her statement about The Bad Guys being stupid, and dials City News, much to Luggins' chagrin.

Later today, Luggins is in her office, crying in a defeated manner. Bob tells her that the good news is the Real Maraschino Ruby was returned to the museum. Luggins is surprised by this, since she didn't return the real Ruby. Upon finding a Push Pop in her pocket, she soon realizes Wolf took the real Ruby and The Bad Guys broke into the museum just to replace the fake Ruby with the real one. Bob proudly admires the Bad Guys' good deed and says they are not so bad after all, which angers Luggins very viciously, causing her to break the Push Pop in two and scream in rage.

Wolf and Snake leave the store again, looking at the news about the real Ruby's return to the museum and Luggins' new statement, and calls the job easy. Snake, holding up the fake ruby agrees, saying it was like literally taking candy from a baby. A very large and really angry baby. He eats the candy ruby as he and Wolf drive off with their friends.

The Bad Guys: Little Lies and Alibis[]

Mr. Wolf nervously enters the Parole Office and introduces himself and his associates to their Parole Officer, as the rest of The Bad Guys enter the Parole Office. The Bad Guys are in a complete mess of bruises and messy clothes, with Wolf's face covered in blue dye, Shark holding an IV pole and wearing a respirator mask, Piranha wearing a mask of himself, covered in a tire mark and accompanied by a chicken, Webs completely fuzzed up and her face covered in soot, and Snake's neck tied in a knot. Wolf begins to explain, but the Officer stops them, stamps a document, and permits them to continue. Wolf tells her that he and his crew know they are 10 minutes late to their Parole check-in, though Piranha, after looking at the clock, corrects him by saying it was 12 minutes, and Snake smacks him on the head in response. Mr. Wolf explains to the officer what happened that led them to being late, as it is a really funny story, and, according to Shark, very "law-abiding":

The Bad Guys were at the diner, getting breakfast since they were running early to their check-in. They are pleased to be off parole in a couple hours, and Wolf is proud that The Bad Guys didn't cause so much as one single legal infraction for 6 months. But, just as they clinked their wine glasses full of orange juice, a tow truck took Wolf's car away, implying he parked it ilegally by accident. and The Bad Guys frantically rush out of the diner, and Wolf tells the Parole Officer that his car getting towed was a valet being "generous enough" to take his car without asking.

He then tells the Parole Officer that he and his crew went to the impound lot to retrieve his car, and Wolf was giving the manager an extra generous tip. Shark was trying to get a snack from the vending machine, but couldn't, much to his frustration. Webs tells him the reason is because the vending machine is unplugged, due to too many plugs being put into the outlet extension. But Piranha, not listening, plugs the vending machine in, electrocuting Webs and causing a circuit overload that disables the crane's magnet and drops an old, blue, beat-up car right onto Wolf's car, crushing it to pieces, horrifying Wolf to the point of screaming, "AHHH! MY CAR!!!!!!".

With their car destroyed AGAIN, the Bad Guys were forced to take the bus to get to the Parole Office. The fuzzed up Webs, who is being held by Wolf, believes something to be not right and asks her friends if they took the right bus. This causes them to indirectly reveal they had no idea there was more than one bus. They were dropped off in the middle of the desert, miles from the city. But Piranha needed to go to the bathroom, and immediately runs to a gas station where there is a restroom, but also a line of scary bikers waiting there, too. Piranha tries to open the door, but it is locked at the moment, and Piranha explained to the Parole Officer that the biker went crazy on him for no reason, despite the fact Piranha actually cut in line, and the lead biker pulled him away from the door, but Piranha pulled the door off its hinges, and the biker inside screams in surprise. Piranha said that, being a master of conflict resolution, he peacefully and gracefully de-escalated the situation, but he actually reacted angrily to the lead biker calling him "chum bucket", and attempts to attack the lead biker, and Wolf was too late to stop him. Later, Wolf and The Bad Guys were beaten senseless and buried up to their necks by the bikers, which Wolf said was a relaxing mud bath rewarded to them for Piranha's efforts. Piranha urinates in the sand, and Webs noticed him smiling, and Piranha said he's doesn't need to go to the bathroom anymore, disgusting his friends.

After getting out of the sand, The Bad Guys attempted to get a rideshare, which Wolf told the Officer was an eco-friendly option. His patience worn out, and he and his friends not having any luck, Piranha steps into the middle of the road just as a truck heads his way. The truck runs over him, causing the driver to stop. Pirahna is still alive, but got the tire mark on his face. Wolf said the driver gave them a ride, but really, he just yelled at Piranha for standing in the middle of the road before getting back in and driving off, and The Bad Guys grabbed Piranha and snuck in the back. However, they realized too late the truck was delivering chickens, and Snake goes into hungry mode upon seeing them. Snake devours them all, but Wolf opens the door and forces all the chickens out of Snake's stomach and into the street. This distracts the driver and causes him to swerve, and The Bad Guys hang on for their lives. Wolf said it got a little fuzzy, but he remembers taking the scenic route.

The Bad Guys fall onto a scooter with one of the chickens and drive frantically, with Wolf hanging onto the rear of the scooter in a panic. And then a montage of events shows what happens next according to what The Bad Guys thought happened next, including driving through a construction site, knocking over a graffiti artist, smashing through a fence in an alley, hanging perilously from a helicopter, Wolf giving Shark CPR at the hospital, and Snake playing chess in the park. Finally, after all that chaos, The Bad Guys, bruised, beaten and utterly exhausted, finally make it to the Parole Office with 10 minutes to spare, but they stopped short at Wolf opening the door when two robbers storm a bank, much to their chagrin. Wolf whines about this one little thing they have to do before going into the Parole Office, despite Snake suggesting ignoring them.

Wolf said they set some rogue youths on a better path, but what really happened is...just as the robbers, who were wearing masks of Wolf and Piranha, told the terrified Bank Teller to put the money in their bag, The Bad Guys enter and Wolf compliments their outfits. The robbers are excited to see them, since they are big fans of them. Wolf congratulates them for thinking of everything, including their escape route and disabling the security cameras, including the one behind the fake plant, which Webs pointed out, and Shark pointed out the silent alarm, and Wolf asks if they DID cut the silent alarm, and the robbers, knowing they forgot about that, tell him they did, but ask him what would happen if they didn't. Wolf tells them not to worry about it, since the police's response time is...12 seconds-ish. The Robbers flee the bank in fear, and Wolf returns the loot to the Bank Teller, but not before a dye pack explodes from the bag, covering Wolf's face in blue dye.

With no time to clean up, Wolf and his crew made their way to the Parole Office, and he tells the Parole Officer that is all what happened. The officer finds the story fascinating, and Wolf insists that they are serious about turning over a new leaf and leaving their life of crime behind. The lady tells them she's convinced, much to The Bad Guys' joy, but says this is something they will need to explain to their ACTUAL Parole Officer. She reveals they arrived at the post office instead, which happens a lot, and that the Post Office is south Main Street, while the Parole Office is NORTH of main street, and wishes them good luck. Realizing that they were at the wrong place this whole time, and that they are now 3 hours 56 minutes late to their parole check-in, since Wolf spent 3 hours 44 minutes explaining what happened, The Bad Guys thank the Post Office worker for the directions and corrections, and they frantically leave to head to the Parole Office, hoping they can get there before they end up in more trouble than they were when they arrived at The Post Office.

The Bad Guys 2[]

Following the defeat of Professor Marmalade and their recent release from prison, the Bad Guys have since reformed but struggle to fit into society. Wolf, Shark, Piranha, and Tarantula unsuccessfully apply for jobs while Snake is frequently away from home. Wolf spends his time with Diane and they grow closer, but they cannot start a relationship due to him being an ex-criminal and her being governor. Inspired by Diane to give people a reason to accept them, Wolf helps Commissioner Luggins track down the Phantom Bandit, a new criminal known for being untraceable. They soon find evidence leading to the bandit being Snake, only to later realize he was with his new girlfriend, Susan. In an attempt to expose the Phantom Bandit at a lucha libre wrestling tournament, the Bad Guys are framed by a pig for the Phantom Bandit's work. Wolf calls Diane to maintain their innocence and she agrees to help them.

The Bad Guys are later kidnapped by a trio of female criminals: Kitty Kat, Pigtail Petrova, and Doom. Kitty was the Phantom Bandit, Pigtail was the pig who framed the Bad Guys, and Doom used the name "Susan" as an alias and was using Snake to lure the Bad Guys. Kitty recruits them to help steal the experimental MOON-X rocket, using secret video footage revealing Diane as the Crimson Paw, her former criminal identity, as blackmail, so the Bad Guys reluctantly acquiesces. Meanwhile, Diane visits Marmalade in prison, where he reveals that Kitty plans to use the Multinational Space Station to steal all of the world's gold with MacGuffin ite, a rare metal which can magnetically attract gold.

The group begins their plan by successfully stealing the smartwatch of the rocket's owner, Mr. Moon, at his wedding. Kitty gives Wolf the footage on a flash drive as promised, but traps them after the Bad Guys record her confession. Kitty uploads the footage to the internet, which reveals Diane's secret identity globally, and alerts the police of the Bad Guys' location. Diane confronts the girls before they board the rocket, but Kitty reveals that the footage is now live. A devastated Diane is tranquilized by Kitty while distracted, but manages to sneak on board while half-conscious. Luggins arrests the Bad Guys, but admits that she trusts them and helps them board the rocket mid-launch via helicopter.

After learning the Bad Guys snuck onboard, Doom and Pigtail do not want to attack them, but Kitty refuses to give up the plan and overpowers the machine, endangering millions of people while magnetizing a large amount of gold, along with a limo including a newly-acquitted Marmalade. When Wolf reaches her, Kitty breaks the magnet's remote, but Wolf pickpockets the smartwatch, which allows him to maneuver the rocket into the magnet, destroying it and returning the gold. Enraged, Kitty attempts to kill Wolf for ruining her plan, but Diane recovers and defeats her. Wolf and Diane happily reunite and share their first kiss, while the Bad Guys regroup as the space station plummets towards Earth. After crash-landing, Kitty is sent to prison, Doom and Pigtail are sentenced to community service, and Luggins fakes the deaths of the Bad Guys and Diane so they can be employed as secret agents. Meanwhile, Marmalade flies to his home planet in his limo, which transforms into a spaceship.

Trivia[]

  • The movie presents two conflicting birthdays for Mr. Snake. The date on the gala security camera is September 7th, and since his birthday was the day before, that would mean he was born on September 6th. However, this is contradicted later with their mugshots, when his birthday is shown to be July 2, 1965. Furthermore, a scene was originally planned to show when Snake and Wolf met at school, meaning that, like in the books, they would likely have similar birthyears. (Wolf’s birthdate, according to his mugshot, is October 19th, 1991.)
  • In the original opening of the film, a golf club Mr. Wolf uses as a cane turns into Mr. Snake, which may be a very loose reference to The Prince of Egypt, where Moses shows a demonstration of God's power with Him turning Himself as a staff into a snake.
  • Jim Carrey was considered for the role of Mr. Snake before Marc Maron was cast.[2]
  • Mr. Snake is the oldest member of the team as he was born in 1965.
  • The film version of Snake's usual dress of a floppy bucket hat and a red shirt with a floral pattern closely resembles the notorious gonzo journalist, Hunter S. Thompson, as depicted in the film, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
