Nickelodeon (often shortened to Nick) is an American pay television channel which launched on April 1, 1979, as the first cable channel for children. It is run by Paramount Skydance Corporation through its networks division's Kids and Family Group. The channel is primarily aimed at children aged 2–17, along with a broader family audience through its program blocks.
The channel is responsible for co-producing with DreamWorks Animation, making three shows to air on Nickelodeon. These three shows are:
- The Penguins of Madagascar (2008-15)
- Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness (2011-16)
- Monsters vs. Aliens (TV series) (2013-14)

- Although Nick doesn’t make some content with DreamWorks anymore, there are still some new shows being aired on Nickelodeon, those being Gabby's Dollhouse and The Boss Baby: Back in Business.
