Paramount Pictures is an American film studio founded in 1912.
Paramount Pictures distributed DreamWorks Animation films from 2006-2012.
Over the Hedge is the first DreamWorks Animation film to be distributed by Paramount Pictures after the departure of DreamWorks Pictures (whom was the former parent of DWA). As of February 2010, Paramount Pictures legally owns the copyrights and trademarks to all of the DreamWorks titles that were made prior to 2008. This doesn't include the animated library, as DreamWorks Animation would later acquire it in 2014 prior to its 2015 acquisition by Comcast.
