We have a new policy regarding how characters can be described on a page. Details about why this is necessary are on RRabbit42's blog.
We are currently looking for people who are interested in becoming administrators. See the Call for admins blog for more details.

Purpose

Displays a pop-up mesage containing announcements, primarily for users who have their preferences set for the Monobook skin, and for some mobile devices like Blackberrys.

Be sure to change the ID number at MediaWiki:Sitenotice id and the one on MediaWiki:Community-corner page so that the pop-up notification will be triggered.

If there's anything we've learned from this delightful adventure, Kowalski, it's that looks don’t matter. It’s what you do that counts. And look at what you did. Yes sir. You are the most meaningful and valued member of this team.
―Skipper to Private.[src]

Private is a supporting character in the Madagascar franchise, and one of the four titular protagonists in The Penguins of Madagascar and its spin-off film of the same name.

Background[]

Personality[]

Throughout the franchise, Private's personality is described him being sensitive, emotional, and happy of the group and rookie of the group, who is sometimes prone to accidents. Despite his personality being shy and emotional, Private is "sticky" and sometimes brave in really bad situations. Private doesn't seem to be concerned about the lemurs. He is gentle, loving, as well as caring to the extent that he was ready to take another shot in place of Skipper.

Private is extremely in love by his favorite foods: Peanut Butter Winky and Fish. Private seems to be overly-protective sometimes. In "Skorca!", Private has a sugar rush after eating his favorite caramel chocolate Butternut Winky. In "Mort Unbound," Private was shown to give life lessons and tell Mort that being buff and bad is not what life is. Private has an abnormal fear of badgers. Private is observant and loyal to the Penguins.

Physical Appearance[]

He is the shortest among the other penguins. In the films, he is cross-eyed.

Appearances[]

The Penguins of Madagascar[]

Private, along with the other Penguins serve as the main characters and go on missions at the Zoo. In the episode A Visit From Uncle Nigel he is revealed to have an uncle called Nigel who works as a secret agent for MI6.

Trivia[]

  • This penguin also appears on the Pengle game developed from Cookapps on Facebook. He has blue coloring instead of black.
