Rupert James Hector Everett (born 29 May 1959) is a British actor. He first came to public attention for appearing in Julian Mitchell's play and film, Another Country. He is also known for his roles as George Downes in My Best Friend's Wedding and Lord Arthur Goring in An Ideal Husband.

For DreamWorks, he performed the voice of Prince Charming in the 2004 film Shrek 2 and its 2007 sequel Shrek the Third.
