"Silent Trux" is the seventy-fourth episode of Dinotrux and the ninth episode of season eight, also known as Dinotrux Supercharged.
Synopsis[]
The Trux eat some tainted ore that makes them lose their voices, then have to race against D-Structs and D-Stroy to find the remedy.
Plot[]
Ton-Ton collects some yellow-colored Ore and then overhears Skrap-It discussing the D-Bros'. plan to attack Stegarbasaur Valley. Upon being informed, Ty and Revvit set out to warn the inhabitants with Garby in tow. Eating some of the Ore along the way, the two friends are left unable to speak, and D-Structs and D-Stroy attack and chase off the Stegarbasaurs. Realizing that the Ore must be responsible, the three head back to base only to find that Skya, Dozer, and Ton-Ton have already eaten some.
With Garby left the only one able to speak, the Trux and Revvit set out to try and find a way to restore their voices. Meanwhile, the D-Bros' also lose their voices due to the Ore, prompting Skrap-It to lead him back to where he found it. After following Ton-Ton to the same location, the Trux realize that flower pollen is responsible for their mute condition. Deciding that Grease Bee grease is the key, the Trux obtain a hive only to have it stolen by the D-Bros.
With Garby's help, the Renegades attempt to recover the hive, resulting in a running game of keep away with the D-Bros. They eventually succeed, but enough grease drips out of the hive to enable the D-Bros. to recover their voices as well. Back at Renegade Base, the Trux are soon back to their old selves, with Garby proving as obnoxious as usual.
