The Snow Wraith is a Strike Class dragon that appeared in DreamWorks How to Train Your Dragon franchise.

Background[]

Official Description[]

This dragon has notoriously poor eyesight and uses thermal sensors to locate its prey. It camouflages itself in the snow because if it can't see you, it doesn't want you to see it!
The Snow Wraith uses its thermal vision to find its prey. So if things get heated, find some snow to take cover and cool off!.

Behavior[]

The Snow Wraith is known to be tough, highly aggressive, and relentless dragon which makes it a vicious hunter. It is known to be social and willing to help others of its own kind.

Physical Appearance[]

The Snow Wraith has two legs and wings like most dragons. The teeth of Snow Wraith are sharp and pointy. It has two prominent tusks on it's lower jaw.

Abilities[]

The Snow Wraith has thermal vision that allows them to track their prey in the blizzard. The Snow Wraith can burrow underground snow in order to hibernate in ice caves during the summer months.

Appearances[]

Dragons: Race to the Edge[]

In "Eye of the Beholder, Part 2", the Snow Wraith was lurking in the snow after the Dragon Riders arrived in Glacier Island.

In "Snow Way Out", Ryker and the rest of the Dragon Hunters arrived on Glacier Island to get a tooth from a Snow Wraith. They known that it is summer for the Snow Wraith to hibernate in ice caves during this season.

The Dragon Riders arrived inside the underground ice cave and discovered that they are three Snow Wraiths sleeping.

Dragons: The Nine Realms[]

In "The Night Lights: Part 1", a Snow Wraith watches Tom and Thunder fly away with the baby Night Light and begins to follow them.

The Snow Wraith then watches the Dragon Club enter through a burrow and begins to follow them.
