Spike, Sinbad's loyal dog
Spike is Sinbad's loyal pet dog and supporting character in Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas. He is a lovable mutt(though most likely some sort of mastiff) who loves going on big adventures. He is voiced by Frank Welker.
Despite his slobbery carefree nature, Spike is actually pretty shrewd and pragmatic as he helps Marina save the whole crew from sirens. He also have Sinbad a stern glance when he refused to admit Marina had helped them. He also is bustling with confidence and tenacity as he bites a part of the Kraken-s testicle off and are it.
At the end, Spike leaps at in Sinbad and Marina on the crows nest in the middle of their True Love's Kiss and slobbers over them as the ship sails into the distance.
He appears to either be a bullmastiff or possibly boarboel, a large South African mastiff.
