The Trident is a direct-to-video short film paired with the home video release of Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.
Sypnosis[]
Puss in Boots, Kitty Softpaws and Perrito are gathered around the campfire. Perrito is eager to hear a story of one of Puss in Boots' deaths. He tells them the story of The Trident, his fifth death. He was battling pirates along with Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
This short came with the Puss in Boots: The Last Wish DVD. It's a little fun. The campfire isn't actually necessary and only serves to eat up the four minutes running time. I was hoping that he was trying to get somewhere fast instead of being stuffed in the cannon by his opponents. It's somewhat fun, but the list in the movie is more fun.
