Thunder is the deuteragonist in the DreamWorks•Hulu's series, Dragons: The Nine Realms. He is Tom Kullerson's pet dragon and best friend. He is a male Night Light, being the distant descendant of Toothless, the Light Fury, and the first Night Lights; Dart, Pouncer and Ruffrunner.

Personality[]
Just as his ancestors once were, Thunder is an intelligent and curious dragon. He is good-natured, not showing an ounce of malice to his rider and their dragons. Similarly to Tom, Thunder has a sense of courageousness and leadership-skills.
Physical Appearance[]
Thunder is a male Night Light who bears a strong resemblance to his ancestor, Toothless. He shares a strong resemblance to his predecessor in stature and appearance.

- Just as Hiccup called Toothless “Bud”, Tom calls Thunder “Pal”.
- Randy Thom did the voice design for the Night Fury and Toothless prior, with Thunder using the same sounds.
- He would later go on to do the voice design for Nessie from Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken.
