Role in the film[]
During their travels, a Turkeyfish was guarding its egg and easily evading capture by Thunk and Grug.
Later, the Turkeyfish was about to eat a Trip Gerbil until it got attention on female Turkeyfish model that was made by Eep and Guy but after they failed to attract. When they get tangled together, their puppet accidentally smacks the Turkeyfish's face, prompting an immediate and violent reaction. The Turkeyfish then grabs the puppet's head with its teeth and begins to shakes it around. Then the Turkeyfish flings it away and begins to pursue Eep. Most likely assuming that she would be clumsy and slow like Grug and Thunk, the Turkeyfish then underestimates her cat-like agility and it is lured into a trap previously set by Guy. The trap launches it straight up into the air and sends it plummeting to the ground again, killing it and providing a massive, primitive equivalent of a Turkeyfish dinner for the Croods. They family then eat it like savages.
Trivia[]
- The Turkeyfish slightly resembles a spinosaurid theropod dinosaur.
