Velvet is Veneer's older twin sister and the main antagonist in the DreamWorks film, Trolls Band Together. She is a pop singer who rose to fame quickly by tormenting Floyd, a former member of BroZone, and she now seeks out the other members of the boy band (John Dory, Spruce, Clay and Branch) in order to steal their skills.

Personality[]
Velvet and Veneer sport very prideful, spoiled and egotistic personalities, as they believe they deserve to be heavily loved by everyone just because they want to. They are also shown to be sassy and rude, especially towards their assistant Crimp who they treat rather poorly.
When one compares the two, Velvet is the more dominant, conceited, and egotistical sibling, described as a heartless diva and a "succubus". She doesn't want to work hard to achieve her goals morally, preferring to be greedy and ignorantly using shortcuts even if they are harmful to others and immoral. This results in parasitic tendencies to exploit and then discard those close to or care about her, including her own brother, and disregarding other lifeforms like the Trolls and Crimp, coupled with her pathological lying. She is also very judgmental, critical and often pushy towards her brother Veneer, passive-aggressively criticizing him for his mistakes while coaxing him to make bad decisions to benefit their fame instead of thinking for himself. She is not above emotional blackmail, using the threat of endangering Floyd's family against him multiple times.
In addition to her incredibly short fuse and violent temper, Velvet is incredibly narcissistic. She constantly reiterates how much she loves herself, and how she is addicted to achieve whatever she desires, namely fame and recognition. But despite of her high intelligence, Velvet's ego blinds her from understanding her mistakes and can make her very gullible, and in many cases unable to expect consequences for her actions. She is nearly completely unapologetic and showed zero remorse for her actions even after being arrested.
Physical Appearance[]
Velvet and Veneer, being twins, are both spindly, attractive, doll-like, pearly-white-skinned humanoid giants with green hair, deep-blue eyes, lavender-pink rosy cheeks and sports minimal makeup.
Velvet’s hair is longer and wavier and has been kept in a high-ponytail, with the two longest parts of head ornaments vaguely resembling the letter “V”. In addition, her eyes protrudes fluttery-like lashes, and her makeup consists of sparkly-light violet eyeshadow and fuchsia lip gloss.
Velvet and her brother both wore V-neck gold tank tops worn under similarly-designed crop-tops with pointed shoulder-pads, followed by crystal accessories. In this case for Velvet, her gold attire is followed by a matching miniskirt, and her accessories includes a spiked-tiara, two chokers with one of them having a diamond-shaped pendant, bracelets on both her wrists, and high-heeled boots; all of them made out of grape-purple crystals. She also dawned a set of grape-purple, teardrop-shaped dangle earrings.

- Although she and her brother Veneer are a duo, Velvet could be considered the true main antagonist from Trolls Band Together for several reasons:
- She is the one who devised the plan to capture BroZone and take their musical talents, while Veneer contributes far less, and mainly goes along with this scheme out of loyalty to her, and for the various riches and awards that he gets out of it.
- Velvet is the one who actively treats their prisoner Floyd with the most cruelty without regard for his life, while Veneer was very reluctant to drain Floyd completely of his talent knowing it would kill him.
- When Branch and Poppy crash their award concert to rescue the BroZone members, while Veneer is nervous about being discovered, she pretends that everything was planned for the performance so they wouldn't be discovered.
- Velvet is the tenth female character in DreamWorks Animation to be a main antagonist, following Eris from Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas, Fairy Godmother from Shrek 2, Gladys Sharp from Over the Hedge, Chantel DuBois from Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted, Ms. Grunion from Mr. Peabody & Sherman, Chef from Trolls, Dr. Zara from Abominable, Queen Barb from Trolls World Tour, and Chelsea Van Der Zee/Nerissa from Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken.
