Wenda is the deuteragonist in the DreamWorksPeacock's series, Where's Waldo?. She is a 12-year-old junior-level Wanderer and Waldo's best friend.

Background[]

Wenda is a twelve-year-old junior-level Wanderer and Waldo's best friend who always go to the extreme, ready for an adventure with Waldo and collecting Wanderer keys for his mentor Wizard Whitebeard. As member of the WorldWide Wanderer Society, she and Waldo traveling the world and learning about its cultures while often dealing with a villainous preteen Odlulu. She loves to make friends around the world, especially with the animals she meets. Wenda is a talented athlete who is always ready to get in on the action and comes up with the finishing touch to Waldo's wild ideas.

She is being ticklish by the feathers in "Little Trouble in Big China" and teaching Waldo how to surf with a surfboard in "Hang Ten in Tahiti". Wenda shown to protect the animals from a snowstorm in "Victoria Falls & Winters" where Odlulu traps them with the Weather Key which she stole from Waldo. In "Costa Rica... in Color!", she stands up to Odlulu who steal all colors in the forest with the Color Key and then she uses it to reverses the magic. Wenda is seen competing with Odlullu in "The Strength of Scotland" while Waldo and Whitebeard try to get the Strength Key from Fritz. She battles Captain Odlulu in "Bahama Drama" to save Waldo and Wizard Doubloon by retrieving the Bubble Key.

Wenda has a favourite animals of lemurs in "Mad About Madagascar" while she and Waldo playing with Woof a game of catch-Woof-if-you-can. In "Norway Out", she saves Odlulu and Fritz from the maelstrom while Waldo uses his hat to create Hat-Sail-anator. She shows Waldo the power of perseverance in "Where's Woof?" while finding Woof which he goes into the magic suitcase. In "Mongolia-Saurus", she uses the Dino Key to save Waldo from a hungry Tarbosaurus. She joins the Blizzards in "Uh-Oh, Canada" to win the match against Invisible Odlulu and Fritz at ice hockey. In "Flipping for Japan", she has the gymnastic moves for the Wander Games and joins a Wanderer Gymnastics Team to compete and defeat the octopus leader by retrieving the Flippety Key.

Wenda is a friendly, adventurous, clever and loves to make friends around the world, especially with the animals she meets. Wenda is a talented athlete who is always ready get in on the action. Unlike Waldo, she is a very logical problem-solver and often comes up with the finishing touch to Waldo’s wild ideas.

Wenda is a young girl of medium height, with a slender build, tan skin, brown hair, and black eyes.

Clothing

Wenda usually wears a red and white-striped short-sleeved shirt. She also wears gray leggings with red stripes on the sides and dark gray sneakers with red laces and red soles.

  • She says to anyone who asks a question about the Wanderer keys, Odlulu and Fritz, and other things, "It's a long story."
  • She reverses the magic with the Wanderer key in "Costa Rica... in Color!", "A New York Minute", and "Mongolia-Saurus".
  • Like Waldo, there are some notable differences between Wenda in the series and her counterpart from the books by Martin Hanford. In the books, Wenda is an adult while she is a preteen girl in the series. In the books, Wenda is caucasian while she has a notable tan here. And in the books, Wenda has a hat idential to Waldo's, which she lacks here.
