The Whale Wash (also known as Sykes and Oscar's Whale Wash) is a central location in Shark Tale. The establishment functions as an underwater car wash, the exception being instead of cars, the ocean life clean whales in virtually similar ways. Many sea life make up the workers of the Wash, including crabs, stingrays, non-hostile eels, sea turtles, and the occasional jelly fish.
Before the events of the film, Earl begins work at the Car Wash, working all the way to his death, leaving Oscar to take up the mantle, even if it means getting laughed at by his peers. Years later, Oscar grows up and takes the job his father was in before him, despite some early bullying at school. During one of these years, he meets Angie, causing her to develop a secret unrequited love for Oscar that lasts into adulthood, resulting in the entire events of the film to concur.
By the end of the film, Oscars gets hired as Sykes' business partner and renovating to a newer, hip-hop themed business and the film ends with a musical number by Missy and Christina.
