Yeren is the recurrent character in the DreamWorks•Hulu's series, Abominable and the Invisible City. He is an Chinese magical apeman.

Yeren is enjoy human visitors and leave out gifts to them. He laughs when he is nervous.
Physical Appearance[]
Yeren is upright apeman creature with green eyes and brown eyelids. Like all primates, the Yeren has five fingers. His lips are dark brown with white funny looking teeth.
Abilities[]
The Yeren is known to make everything invisible. He is has the power to grow plants.
Role in the series[]
In "A Hair-ifying Night", Yeren appears in front of Jin and mysterious kidnaps him in the night. Yeren leaves behind gifts for Yi, Peng, Jin, and Everest as a surprise. They entered his home and was surprised by Yeren. Yi and Everest use magic to hold Yeren using logs and wind. Jin and Peng are about to fall but Yeren managed to save them. Jin explains that Yeren is not who he is and then Yeren communicates with Everest. It was revealed that Yeren helped Jin from his sprain. Yeren tells Yi and her friends a filer that the campgrounds will be closed tomorrow. This makes him feeling sad about it that they'll chop down the forest.
In the morning, Yeren watches Yi and Everest use their magic to clean the trash away. As the Park Ranger and lumberjacks arrived, Yeren hides behind a tree while Yi and friends try to stop them. Yeren helped Yi against lumberjacks by making their chainsaws invisible using camouflage magic. He then appears in front of the Park Ranger and roars at him. Yeren unleashes his camouflage magic on the vines and bulldozers but his is working too slowly. Then Yi and Everest help Yeren by giving him their magic allowing fly in the air and made the bulldozers invisible. Park Ranger orders Yeren to bring them back but he is feeling sad and Jin asks to just give a couple of days to get people to the campground and will bring their bulldozers back. The Park Ranger decided to give them two days and they begin to take photos of the campgrounds. Yeren offers her sticks Yi decides to teach to work on his human skills. Everest first give Yeren a cup of tea and drinks it but he felt it too hot. Then Everest teaches Yeren how to hug Jin carefully. Then Everest shows Yeren to give out flowers instead of mice. Yeren then watches everyone came and enjoy the campgrounds. Yeren offers the Park Ranger a hand shake and became partners. The Park Ranger gives Yeren a Park Ranger hat and likes it. Two people came and asks Yeren for a selfie. Yeren offers Yi his toe nail.
In "Please Hold While We Connect", after Yi let her anger took over and unleashed magic, the Great Watcher took Yeren and the other magical creatures back to the Magical Realm. However, Yeren tells Yi that he wanted to go back to Earth. Yeren and the other magical creatures retured back to Earth and help Yi bring magic back. Yeren reunites with the Park Ranger and the campground's color came back.
However, Yeren is starting to loose his color and magic along with the other magical creatures due to restoring color back to Earth which drains him.
Yeren along with everyone arrived to Mount Everest to help. He then listen to Peng's speech and begin to help find Yi. Yeren along with everyone are then gathered in circle and concentrate with their magic to repair the broken stone. After the stone was fixed, it restored Yeren's magic along with the other magical creatures and give Yi more power to stop the avalanche. Then Yeren's color and magic was restored.
After restoring magic, Yeren and the Park Ranger eat together at the restaurant as Nai Nai serves them dumplings. Then they meet the Park Ranger and lumberjacks as they came Yeren hides in the tree in fear.
